Goblin – Profondo Rosso – Deep Red (1975)

Goblin (also known by various other names, including Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin) is an Italian progressive rock band famous for their film scores. The outstanding keyboard work performed by Claudio Simonetti is a trademark of Goblin. Most of their stuff is really heavy and moody, with a Floydian progressive feel, and generally pretty good.

Profondo Rosso (or Deep Red) is a film soundtrack album for the film of the same name mainly composed and performed by the Italian progressive rock band Goblin, the band’s first collaboration with director Dario Argento.
